Privacy at PlausiDen
PlausiDen LLC ("we") runs plausiden.com and plausiden.org. This page says what the site records about you, why, where it goes, and how long we keep it. Questions or requests: team@plausiden.com.
When you visit
Server logs. Our web server records each request: the time, the page address (including anything after the "?"), the response, its size and timing, and the page that linked you here. Your IP address is replaced by a short code before anything is written. The code is made from the address alone, so anyone holding the log could work the address back out, and we keep the logs private for that reason. Your browser type, your cookies and the other request headers that could identify you are left out of the log. Logs are kept in files of a fixed size, and the oldest is deleted as new ones fill, so how far back they reach depends on traffic: about ten to eleven weeks on plausiden.com, and several months on plausiden.org, which gets far fewer visits.
Error logs. When something fails, the server's own error log can include your IP address and browser details, for troubleshooting. It is kept for up to 90 days.
Visit statistics. A small script from our own server records which page you viewed, the page that referred you, your screen size category, how long you stayed, how far you scrolled and how fast the page loaded. Visits within one day are grouped by a code made from your IP address, your browser and a random value we replace every 24 hours, so we can count visits without recognizing you on another day. Clicks are recorded without any visitor code. No cookie is used. This data stays on our server and is never shared or sold. We keep these statistics while they help us see how the site is used. Nothing is deleted automatically.
No third parties. Pages load nothing from other companies: no ads, no social buttons, no outside fonts or scripts.
When you contact us
Contact form. We keep your name, email, phone, company, the service you picked and your message, with our spam filter's verdict, in a database on our server, and email it to our team mailbox, which keeps a copy. We use it only to answer you and to keep a record of our conversations. We keep it while it is relevant to our work with you, and longer where we need a record of what was agreed. Nothing is deleted automatically.
Feedback form. The same, for the fields you fill in.
Free email check. We look up the public DNS records of the domain you enter, through the public resolvers Quad9 and Cloudflare. We do not store the domain or the result.
Booking a call. Our booking page is run by Cal.com, another company. The name, email and notes you enter there go to Cal.com, which sends us the booking. Cal.com's own privacy policy covers what it keeps.
Showings (pages under /show, used by real-estate clients). The name and phone number you give are sent to the agent's Follow Up Boss account, a service operated by another company, so the agent can follow up.
