550 5.7.26 “SPF record with a hard fail policy (-all)”

Your SPF record ends in -all, which tells receivers to reject mail from any server it doesn't list, and the server that sent this message isn't listed.

Codes: 550 5.7.26. Source: Google Workspace: Gmail SMTP errors and codes.

What usually causes it

  • A new email service or server was never added to SPF.
  • The record needs more than 10 DNS lookups, so receivers stop reading it.

How to fix it

  • Add the missing service's include: (or its ip4: address) to your one SPF record.
  • Consider ~all instead of -all, which is what Google recommends.
The free email check can find part of this
